Opportunity Knocks - Reaching Out To Seniors
Opportunity Knocks opened a new branch of the company in December 2008 called Reaching Out to Seniors.
Leslie Graham, Owner and Director of Opportunity Knocks Rehabilitation, Training and Employment says:
"Providing seniors with non-medical, affordable support is a long needed service not readily available. Everyone is so busy with personal and work demands, sometimes there is little time and energy left for our aging loved ones."
The staff of Opportunity Knocks Reaching Out to Seniors assists seniors by running errands, escorting them to the bank, appointments, shopping and social outings, picking up groceries, ensuring oil tanks are filled, light housekeeping, light grounds keeping and almost anything to allow seniors to enjoy the comfort and security of their own home.
Leslie says: "since no two people are alike, our goal is to provide seniors with individualized and professional services".
She also states that just simple companionship is missing in the lives of many seniors and that's something we can do something about.
